Skeelus is a desktop app. Most data lives on your device. To let you use Skeelus across multiple devices, we sync course state to the cloud.
What we store in the cloud
Course metadata, progress, curriculum, chat history, and video transcripts. This allows your learning state to sync across devices.
What stays on your device
Video files and other large local artifacts stay on-device. Only transcripts are synced.
Authentication
Sign-in is handled via Supabase. The app opens your browser for email/password authentication.
